Instant Impact Global Prep will offer a comprehensive school counseling program that aligns with Mississippi Department of Education standards and is inclusive and in alignment with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model. Counseling focus will be a data drive program based on school counseling core curriculum designed to address individual, small group, and whole group needs. Referrals to the counselor can be made by parents, teachers, or administration. School counseling lessons will also be presented to address social emotional development and needs of students. The counseling program will assure the timely delivery of information on suicide prevention, bully education, conflict resolution, improving academic skills, dealing with crisis situations.
Positive Behavioral Interventions (PBIS)
Positive Behavioral Interventions (PBIS): Instant Impact Global Prep has adopted the PBIS model to address and aggressively monitor student progress and provide consultation and interventions as needed. The PBIS committee will monitor and partner with teachers to provide additional supports in the area of academic, social emotional, and/or academic interventions.
